Why Do Kids Need Leadership Training?

Maybe you have heard about the award winning kids leadership program at Maculele-Capoeira, and you have questions how it can benefit YOUR child?

We created the program with a specific goal to help children and teens develop PUBLIC SPEAKING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS such as:

Standing tall.
Speaking with clear voice.
Using eye contact.

We start students early with this training – as young as 6 years of age! From our 40 years of experience of working with children, we understand that the sooner the child starts speaking in front of a crowd the faster and easier they overcome stage fright.

Communication is an essential aspect of leadership training. Powerful communication skills are crucial for leaders to effectively convey their ideas, perspectives, and instructions to others. Good communication skills also help leaders to build trust and rapport with their team members, which is important for creating a positive work environment and achieving shared goals.

During our capoeira leadership training, our students learn and deliberately practice different types of communication, such as verbal, nonverbal, and written communication. They also practice active listening, giving feedback, and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner. These skills can not only help them in their leadership roles but also in their personal and professional lives.

Kids benefit from leadership training because it helps them develop important skills and qualities such as:

Confidence and self-esteem
Communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Decision making and goal setting abilities
Responsibility and accountability
Empathy and emotional intelligence
Teamwork and collaboration

Having these skills can have a positive impact on a child’s future personal and professional success. Additionally, leadership training can also provide kids with the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment, and build relationships with others who share similar interests and values.

We hope to welcome your child into our powerful leadership program.
