New to Capoeira, read below:
When joining a capoeira school, you or your child will eventually have a chance to take part in the annual graduation and belt-changing ceremony. This event is an exciting day for your child to demonstrate their efforts from the past months in a full weekend of entertainment and excitement! Each year, Capoeira Maculele does it best to make the belt ceremony a fun and exciting event for all participants. It’s the Super Bowl of all capoeira events! People across the state and country make a special trip to Atlanta just to come to our event. We bring special guests from all over the world, put them up in hotels, so they can participate in the events. Students receive a special event t-shirt, new belt, certificate, and goody bag.
I KIDS BELT TESTING
Remember, it’s much more than colorful belts, kicks, and tricks… Tests and rank advancement is a motivational and fundamental experience for your child. Testing helps us teach children about accountability, determination, and goal setting in an exciting fashion. Self-motivation is a huge part of Capoeira. Knowing that you can set goals and accomplish them step-by-step is an integral part of Capoeira. Each level has a corresponding test. We will be doing the testing during normal class times!
