We’re excited to invite you to Atlanta’s Got Talent (Saturday, September 6)-  a day of capoeira workshops, rodas, and a fun solo tournament hosted right here in our school. This in-house event is for ALL levels- adult beginner, intermediate, and advanced!

Throughout this event, you’ll engage in lively Capoeira exchanges, showcasing your skills while learning from others. The Capoeira Rodas will be a highlight with the energy and rhythm of this dynamic martial art. Make this event an unforgettable chapter in your Capoeira journey.

What happens in the solo tournament?

Each student will enter the roda *one at a time* while the bateria plays. You’ll have 60 seconds to express yourself through movement using the techniques you’ve learned in class. Scoring criteria; creativity, technique, energy, and basic floreios.

The $25 registration goes directly toward covering the medals and studio rental; this is a community event. Everyone who participates is recognized and celebrated.  If you just want to join us for the workshops with special guests and rodas that would be amazing. You’re still a part of the event, and your presence adds to the energy of the day.
